｢藩校早春賦｣の待望の続編｡少年３人は青年になったが、その生き方、友情のすがすがしさ、さわやかさは前作の読者の期待を裏切らない｡３人を取り巻く大人たちの温かさも、またいい｡ストーリーを追って急いでページを繰りたいという気持ちを押さえ、味わうように読んだ｡

｢早春｣｢夏雲｣と来た以上、実年になった３人の｢秋｣篇、あるいは老年の｢冬｣篇もいつか読んでみたい思うのは、いささか先走りすぎか｡いずれにせよ、司馬遼太郎や子母澤寛の時代小説を手に取るには、まだちょっと早いわが子にも薦めてみたい１冊である｡

2年前高校の教室で早春賦を見かけて読んで以来このシリーズが大好きです。
藩の陰謀を打ち砕くために走る主人公の新吾と仙之助と太郎左の三人の友情が本当にほほえましい!
話の中に謎が見え隠れして次の展開が気になってページをめくる手が止まらなくなるのはハリポタ並です。彼等を見守る人々も皆個性的で、現代ではあまり感じることの出来ないあたたかさがこの物語にはあると思います。
この本は一生の友です(笑)
