「食」の名著は数々ある。古くは吉田健一や開高健、現在では玉村豊男などなど。しかし、今、食について書かれているのは、いわゆる「ガイド本」「レシピ本」を除くと意外に少ない。中国に満漢全席を友人一同と食べに行く。という話だが、どこまでが現実で、どこまでが幻覚、作り話なのか境界がはっきりしない。そこが面白くもあり、作者の狙いでもあろう。一気に了読した。面白かった。（松本敏之）
