芥川龍之介の作品では、暗いものが多いかもしれない。
一度は読んでみるとよい近代の古典だと思う。

さてこの地獄変ですが中身の評価は今更語る必要はないでしょう。

ただし表紙で勘違いされそうですが、この作品は表紙の人物がいまにもドン！っと攻撃を繰り出したり、ドン！っと卍解を発動して10〜20週間、同じ敵と戦うといった話はありません。
また、表紙でこの作品を手に取った方は表紙と本文のギャップに何・・・だと・・・?といった感想を持つかもしれません。
このような形でも古典作品に興味を持ってくれる方が増えるなら良いですが、表紙買いはしたが読んでない。といった状態は避けてほしいですが。

最後に、この作者がこの作品を読んだことがあるかは知りませんが、この表紙の人物はだれなのでしょうか？
もしかしたらこの作者の空想上の人物かもしれません。
誰か私に教えてください。

仕事を受けたからには責任をもって果たして下さい。
作品のイメージを膨らまさなきゃならないのに、誤解させる表紙を描くとは…。
いくら何でもナルシスト過ぎますよ。
