最初「いまを生きる言葉-森のイスキアより-」を購入しました。
そちらは、佐藤初女さんの著書の中から素敵な文章を
選んだもので、それはそれでとてもよかったです。
それを読んでから、たまたま書店で「おむすびの祈り」に遭遇して、
思わず買ってしまいましたが、大成功でした。

こちらは、佐藤初女さんの生まれてから、現在に至るまでが描かれています。佐藤初女さんの旧姓が「神」（ぴったり！）だった、
というのも同級生からのお手紙で判明。

そして、宗教とは縁のない私でさえ「何かを信じられるって素晴らしい」と思わず思ってしまうようなその信心深さ。誠実さ。
大変学ぶところが多かったです。

「いまを生きる~」は佐藤初女さんの著書のエッセンスのような本で
こちらは、言ってみれば一代記のような本ですが、
どちらも大変いい本でした。
出会えてよかったです。
心が温かくなります。

いろいろ、胸が痛くなるような事件が多かったりする昨今、
こういう方もいるんだ、ということに少しほっとします。

友人から借りて読んだこの本、電車の中で開くと知らないうちに涙がぼろぼろ・・。止まりません！忙しく生きる現代人の忘れてしまったとても大切な気持ちを取り戻させてくれるような温かい命に溢れた本です。
気持ちの疲れた人に読んでいただきたいと思います。

　清らかで、温かで、愛の波動に満ちあふれた本でした。すっかり心が洗われ、穏やかで幸せな気持ちになりました。佐藤初女さんは、まさに、日本のマザーテレサのような方だと思いました。以前「今を生きる言葉−森のイスキア」を読んで感動し、そのとき初めて初女さんのことを知りましたが、この本は、初女さんのこれまでのことが詳しく書かれていて、また一段と感銘深かったです。初女さんが大切にしている「心の貧しい人は幸いである」という聖句を、私も心に刻んで、毎日を過ごしてゆきたいと思います。
