　いいですね、馳さんの作品。
人間の業とか、ずるさとか、それでも自分だけ生き延びたい、という気持ちを逃げずにこれだけの長編に仕立てる力量はすごいです。個人的にも半年に一度は、こういった人間のキタナい部分を正面から見据えるために読みます。彼の作品は結構読んでいるほうかな。

　しかし、正直、もうあきました。登場人物の名前を変えたりすれば、まあ、プロットもたいしたことはないと感じましたし、正直、本作の下巻を最後まで読み通すのはツラカッタ。

　バブルの日本を描いた「生誕祭」は違ったアプローチらしいので読んでみようと思いますが、、、。

　まだ馳ワールド初心者の方には楽しめるのかな？

新宿から台湾、タイ、カナダと華僑が強い街を馳の描く「絶望」が侵食する。馳星周の漂流街や不夜城などと登場人物の青写真は残しながらも毎回グレードアップしていく様はそら恐ろしいのだが快感である。

今回の「ダークムーン」では三人の底無「くそ」野郎が登場。マネー／セックス／ドラッグといつもながらのどろどろ感で話は進んでいく。ただこれは上巻である、だからまだまだ薄味だ。底無沼に足をとられていく人間たち、金があろうがなかろうが、権力があろうがなかろうが一蓮托生でどっぷりいってしまう、さらには白人とアジア人との人種格差、これにもまた注目。見る目が変わることうけあい。

舞台がアメリカではなくカナダであることがいい。もちろん中国人社会が発展しているヴァンク-ヴァ-が選ばれたのだがそこにある社会問題をも痛烈に描いている。特筆すべきは街の空気感、それぞれに温度や湿度が感じられ、ここでもその空気は存分に感じられる。小説に翻弄されながら下巻に突入するハズ、文庫本がでて良かったぁ。

ヘロイン、黒社会、殺人、悪徳警官etc ヴァンクーバーを舞台に繰り広げられる馳ワールド。スリルとスピード感にあふれており、馳作品の中で最も映画化に適している物を挙げろといわれたら、これがイチオシ。ただ、一気に読んだので、３人のキーパーソンのキャラクターが途中でだぶってしまって星一つマイナス。よく読んだらきちんと（ルックスとか、耳元に聞こえる声とか）個性がわけられてるので、みんなが読んだら星５つでしょう。
