不思議な話である。

人の心の中身はとても一言で表すことはできない。それを読者に何とかして伝えようとして小説というものが存在していると思う。作者はそんな説明のできない人の心の動きを何とか、不思議な世界観の中であらわそうとしているようである。時間軸のずれや、多面体をさまざまな角度から観察したように多用される挿話など、作者の試みの跡が垣間見られる。不思議なやどかりを探したり、瞬間移動してしまったりと何か村上春樹の特に「羊をめぐる冒険」を思い起こさせる部分が多かった。「羊をめぐる冒険」の弱い版、と感じた。

兄については他のレヴュアーの方がよく説明しているが、彼の人格がずれるところが面白かった。

江國さんの作品は以前から好きでしたが、最近集中して江國作品を
片っ端から読んでます
この作品は・・・。実験的な試みといった感じがしました。
あまりにも淡々としていて（それが、江國なのですが）、途中で
どうしても耐え切れず、飛ばし読みしてしまいました（ごめんなさい）
もっと別の精神状態だったら、もっとしっくりくるのかもしれません。
今の私の感想としては、☆３つです。

　何かレビューを書くことは難しい。
　日常から切り離されたシュールな世界の中で起こる奇妙で唐突な物語。それは気だるいなつのひかりとあたたかな空気の中でひとつの物語として完結し、またどことなく刹那的である。
　読み終わってどこかほっとして、心に残る余韻がたまらない。
　にしても、文章上手い。読んでいるだけでこうも心地いい文章は、村上春樹と江国香織だけだと思う。
