いやー他の方も書いていますが、ホント長かった〜やっと先程読み終えました。

やはり・・・このような結末になったのか、が本を閉じた後出た言葉でした。
まぁ二人的には甘美な結末でしょうね。
あえて、弱いだの・女々しいだのは言いません
この場を逞しく生きていくことも出来たでしょう、しかしそれが何になるでしょう。
獣と違う人間の崇高なる判断は「自ら結果を出す」こと。
人間以外に出来ない脳的所作ですね
人間とはこういうシナリオも描けるという証明でしょうね
また、他の者を巻き込むのも人間だけですね
一見、袋小路に追い込まれての判断と見間違うところもありますがボクはコレでよかったと思っています。
改めて、人間が生来持っている深い闇とドロドロ感を見せ付けられました。

日立行きのバスが事故にあい、夫の孝明を失った萌。そして同じく、娘を失った作家
の遊作。この二人のなんともはかない恋物語です。読み応えあるし、１行、１項が
実に文章力があるし、表現の仕方も素晴らしいですが、やはりこうまでマイナス的
な考えだと、あまり感じよくないですよね。結末もこうならなで最後はもっと...
と期待をこめて読んでいきましたが、無理でした。あまりにも悲観的、大衆にあまり
あおられたくない作品だと想います。賛否両論だからこそ、いいものが作れるんで
しょうね。

510ページという長編小説で、とても読み応えがありました。
小池さんの作品は初めて読んだのですが、この瑠璃の海は
構成がとても優れている作品だなぁと感じました。
あの登場人物たちがこんなところで登場するんだっ!!って
驚かされました。
ただ、最後はひっぱられて、結局こういう結末なのか。。と
読後とても淋しくなりました。
