激動の昭和が幕を開けたばかりのころ、貧民街で暮らす盲目の美少年と薄幸な姉の毎日には終わりがないように見えた。夜ごと禁断のまじわりを繰りかえすふたりの生活にさらに暗い彩りを与えるのが、女性作家の書き損じ原稿だった。姉が勤め先の料亭から盗んでくる紙片には、その女性作家の分身のような女の転落がつづられている。女の運命は刻々と陰惨で生々しいものへと変容し、物語に刺激された姉弟の交わりも昼夜の別がつかなくなる。袋小路に追い詰められたネズミがくるくると回るのを止められないように、弟の毎日もひとり空しく回転するばかり。きょうが昨日のつづきなのか、または、物語のつづきなのか。現実と虚構の境目はしだいに溶けていく。その末路は、盲目の瞳にようやく宿った光によって照らしだされた。実に白々しい光だ。しかしその空しい明るさのもとで振り返ったとき、淫猥で甘美な暗闇が彼らにとってどれほど居心地のいい理想郷だったかを知るのである。

愛の流刑地と悦びの流刑地はともにエロ恋愛小説なのですが，読者層がまったく重なりません。こちら悦びのの方は，隠微・グロテスク・浪漫・狂気・貧困の色の中にあります。

由紀夫ちゃんは姉さんと二人で暮らしています。
由紀夫ちゃんと姉さんは同じ布団に入ります。
姉さんは仲居をしていて，女作家の書き損じ原稿を拾ってきます。
目の見えない由紀夫ちゃんに姉さんはそのお話を夜毎読んであげます。
不吉な不吉な物語を。
偽りの時の終わりが近づいてきます。

というぬめぬめした小説です。

それにしても，よりにもよって「由紀夫」かよと思いました。
小説家のほうにしても政治家のほうにしても，ものすごく強いイメージ喚起作用が働きます。
うーん。由紀夫という名の恐ろしさよ。

夢と現実、姉と女作家と少女、何もかもが混沌としている中で、かりそめの快楽に溺れている・・・
そんな日々がいつから続いているのか、いつまで続くのかも分からず、すべてに脈絡がない・・・
こんな状況の盲目の主人公を、岩井志麻子さんらしい暗鬱な雰囲気で生々しく描写されています。途中で結末が見えてしまうのが残念でしたが、中々の佳作です。
