~「抗菌」というキーワードがブームとなっています。病院では院内感染が問題となりながらも、菌を悪者ととらえ少しでも熱が出ようものならば抗生物質が処方または点滴されています。抗生物質が全く効かないとわかっていてもインフルエンザやごく軽い風邪でさえ処方されています（患者さんの方から要求されることも有ると思いますが）。それがまた耐性菌を創っ~~ているのにもかかわらず、です。
この本は、自然の中で、常在菌とともに生きていくことの大切さを分かりやすく書いて有ります。「目から鱗」です。余計な薬やサプリメントに頼ったり、傷を消毒したりすることはやめてみましょう。（傷の消毒に関しては夏井睦先生の本を読んでいただいたほうがいいです）~

ばい菌だって生き物だから、棲む場所が広々していて餌もたっぷりあれば、じゃんじゃん繁殖するわけです。
だから先住者である常在菌がいれば、棲む場所も餌も常在菌が確保しているから、悪玉菌が来ても用意には住み着けないんですね。
常在菌がいるから悪い菌に感染しないってことです。
だから石鹸は使いすぎない方がいい。特に薬用石鹸や逆性石鹸のような消毒効果のある石鹸はだめ。
水洗いだけで十分汚れは落ちる。むしろ、石鹸をちゃんと洗い流さない方が危ない。
この本には水だけでしっかりと手を洗う方法も書いてあります。

人間は細菌の助けなしでは生きていけないということを逆説的に説く。皮膚に表皮ブドウ球菌が適当に繁殖していると、皮膚はしっとりとしつやつやになる。著者はこれを「美人は菌でつくられる」と言う。またもし腸内に大腸菌がいなければステーキの消化はできないだろうし、もっと危険な細菌が入った時、大腸菌がそれを攻撃しないから、危険な細菌が繁殖することになるだろうと言う。細菌の人間に対する効用を知らされる本である。大事なのは細菌との調和であり、細菌を殺すことでないのだと知らされる本である。
