やさしくて人が良くてちょっとオチャメなところがある少女。
謎が多く、知る人には敬い恐れられているけど、少女にとっては優しくて安心できる男性。
この2人のすむ平原におきる不思議な事件を、少女は男性にかげながら守られつつ元気に楽しみます。
そしてそれは、いつも、何か幸せな空間を感じさせる読後感をもたらします。

草原の中を、ちょっとドキドキしながら探検して走り回ったあと、のんびりと草の中に寝転がったような気分。
そんな本です。

それに わかつきめぐみ のイラストが絶妙にマッチして、小説とイラストの稀に見るハーモニーを感じさせます。
