主人公・多恵子の健気さに泣ける。十代特有のものかもしれない純情さ。彼女の想い人なぎさは最低のバカ野郎だ。
必死に支える多恵子がいてこそ、今の自分か゛あると気づかず、二股をかけてばれて、それでも多恵子に詭弁を弄する。
多恵子のようなシッカリした女は、ダメ男を好きになるということを教えてくれた作品でもある。

「なぎさボーイ」の続編ですが、主人公が変わると同じ事件？が
こんなに受け止め方が違うのかぁと思う一冊。
中学時代に、友達と男女の視点の違いについて話し合った思い出が
あります。
恋に対しては真剣だったですよねー、あの頃。

これ以降、氷室冴子のものを片っ端から読むようになりました。

少女小説といっても、人物の書き分けは今思い返してもきちんと
してたと思います。

　わたしたち３０代以上の女性にとっても懐かしい作家氷室冴子の、なんともかわいい初恋ストーリー。『なぎさボーイ』とセットにして読んでみてください。忘れていた自分以外の誰かのことを思う気持ち、くすぐったい思いとともに思い出せるはず。なんだか、夫さんにやさしくしてあげたくなりました。
