本編は暗くなってしまっていますが、こちらは甘い短編集。
表題作「運命の赤い糸を信じますか？」を含む3作が収録されています。

「不思議な贈り物と従者の受難」
妖精からの不思議な贈り物を受け取った、エドガー。
「使用禁止」と書いてあるにも関わらず、使用してしまいます…レイヴンが。
今作はレイヴンにスポットが当てられています。

「運命の赤い糸を信じますか？」
妖精フェアリーゴッドマザーの魔法のおかげで赤い糸が見えるようになってしまった。
婚約者のエドガーの指には何本もの赤い糸が結ばれていて…
成程…そういうことか！というラストでした。
エドガーの幼馴染ロタや画家のポールも登場します。

「リボンは勝負のドレスコード」
書き下ろし作品。
妖精界からリディアの前世での恋人だったという人物が現れ、エドガーに決闘を申し込んでしまいます。


どの作品も短編というだけあって、随所にエドガーとリディアが甘甘としています。
結婚に迷うリディアの乙女心も描かれています。密度の濃い短編集ではないでしょうか。

放送中のアニメを見て小説を読みたくなり、
試しに短編集としては一番新しいらしいこの本を購入。

予備知識はアニメ1〜5話のみですが、問題なく読めました。
ハマってしまって、現在1冊目から読んでいます。
アニメからの流れで試してみたい方にオススメです＾＾

妖精と人間のかけはしである妖精博士のリディアと
過酷な運命を乗り越え、伯爵位を獲得したエドガーのお話。
今回は二人の婚約期間の短編集、３作入りです。

エドガーの従者・レイヴンが中心のお話、
「不思議な贈り物と従者の受難」、

妖精の持ち込んだトラブルにまきこまれたリディアとロタ。
赤い糸が見えるようになった二人は
エドガーの指に複数の糸を見て。。。？？という
表題作「運命の赤い糸を信じますか？」。

ラストは書き下ろし。
「リボンは勝負のドレスコード」です。
リディアを前世の恋人の生まれ変わりだといって
エドガーに決闘を申し込む、昔の人のお話。

今回は二人の婚約期間のあまめのお話。
本編の続きは気になりますが、こういうお話、好きです♪
エドガーのお屋敷でういちゃっているレイヴンの日常が
おかしかったです。
エドガー命のレイブンはかわいいけど、上司だったら嫌だなあ。

今秋からアニメ化、マンガ化もはじまるそうです。
