「マリみて」の主人公・祐巳の弟、祐麒視点の花寺ストーリー。
時は、祐麒の入学からスタートします。
柏木氏を始め、本編には登場していないキャラも登場。
マリみてでは触れられていない、祐麒や友人たちの性格や内実、
過去や人間関係が語られていて興味深いです。

外伝で、花寺や花寺に通う生徒を楽しむと割り切れれば、及第点だと思います。
逆に、マリみてのキャラや展開を重視する方には、あんまりお勧めできないかも。
舞台は男子校ですが、いわゆるBLのような展開はなく、すんなり読むことができます。

花寺を舞台にした外伝です。主人公は祐麒。
花寺もなかなか個性的な学校のようです。
ただ、作者の男子校に対する思い込みがやや偏っている印象を受けました。
全体的な感想としては、まぁ外伝としてはアリかな、と。
作者はシリーズ化する気満々なようですが、それでマリみてが放置されるのはちょっと勘弁願いたいです。

　『マリア様がみてる』シリーズでちらりちらりと言及のあった、祐巳と顔がそっくりで性格も同じく穏やか風なのになぜか大変ハードそうな学園生活を送ってるっぽい謎多き弟、祐麒の、え、なに裏側でこんなに大変なことになっていたの、みたいな話です。
　マリア様がみてるの花寺版というと、ＢＬ色が前面に出た耽美で気持ち悪いものになるのではないかと想像していたのですが、コミカルでアクティブで大変楽しかったです。雑誌版でも読んでいたのですが、いまひとつふたつ腑に落ちなかった箇所も加筆されていてごくごく自然に納得がいきます。その後の異文化コミュニケーション的な生徒会室のドタバタの短編が書き下ろされてます。
　リリアン女学院とクロスオーバーしてる部分の花寺側もすごく見てみたいし、続きも大変楽しみです。
［追記］リリアン側のキャラは祐巳がカメオ出演する程度で殆ど出ないと言っても過言ではありませんので、そちらを期待する向きはスルーするのが無難かも、です。
