まさに箱入り娘として窮屈な環境にありながら、井の中の蛙になるまいと必死に闘うお姫様。蓄積した知識と美貌を武器に、表舞台へ打って出る！といったお話です。美しさを利用する割には男ごころに鈍く、危機感にいまいちかけるのがご愛敬。そんな彼女が次期国王候補に、そして自分の主にと目をつけた第2王子様。（気品があり、頭の回転もよく、カリスマ性を備え…と書いてあるのに、王の器って感じには思えませんでした。残念。だってこの王子様生き残るためとはいえ、いささかあざとすぎ。軍師や大使役には最高でしょうが…小回りがききすぎるからかな？）そして目標達成のための戦略的パートナーとして婚約した将軍様。（怜悧な計算機…じゃなかったの!?；）彼らと手を携え、お姫様はその野望をとげることができるのか。今後の成長に期待します。

月のごとく美しいアルナイーズ姫が主人公のお話。
中性的で美青年の女たらしシャルフ王子と無口で頼りになる将軍スイーヴがアルナの相手役として登場。二人とも既に１巻でアルナに惹かれています。

肝心のアルナはシャルフの参謀になる為、王太子につかせようと画策するのですが、これがまた、行き当たりばったりな面も多く、参謀になろうというほどの知略がありません。
優秀なシャルフの参謀になりたい割には、シャルフと同等程度の知略しかありません。
いつもシャルフに策略を読まれています。
・・・これってどうなの？
しかもシャルフの神官達を説得した演説(芝居)も長々として空々しく、私が神官なら、シャルフの演説は脅しか侮辱のどちらかと悩みます。
それを見て胸を熱くし、やはりシャルフに仕えたいと再確認したアルナ・・・１９歳の著者ではこの程度なのかと思いました。
小中学生レベルが満足する策略のお話ですね。
設定はとても良いのに著者の実力が伴っていません。
こんな中途半端な参謀を持っても仕方ないです。
ああ、使い物にならなかったらシャルフは妃にしたいらしいから、そうなるかもしれませんね。

月のような美貌が噂されるアルナイーズ。
普段はしとやかにふるまう彼女だが、
外の世界で、自分の力をためしたいと強く願っていた。
支配国の第二王子シャルフが訪れたとき、
彼の参謀・杖人にしてほしいと持ちかける。
狙うのは、シャルフを王太子にすること。
アラビアンな政治的冒険モノです。

アルナイーズは楚々とした美貌と知略、度胸に富み、
がんがん自分を売り込みます。
シャルフに会うまでにも、きちっと布石うっています。
シャルフの国の切れ者将軍、スイーヴと婚約したのもその一環だし、
間諜まではなっています。
けれどシャルフは更に一枚上手っぽく、そんなアルナイーズを利用しています。
二人のかけあいは息があっていて
いいコンビになりそうです 。

でも婚約者スイーヴもいいです。
無口だけど、安心して背中を任せられ、
なおかつ守ってくれそう。
彼がどんな気持ちで
アルナイーズの婚約持ちかけ話を聞いたかと思うと、
かわいそうなような笑えるような。

アルナイーズは恋愛関係はにぶにぶですが、
この先どっちが優勢になるのか。
楽しみです。
