「伯爵と妖精」シリーズのはじまりの巻。
これはリディアとエドガーの出会いの話なので、まだ恋の香りがうっすらとしかありませんが、続編を読んでいくとはまります！！
続編はこの作品よりも２人が近づいていってすごく面白いけど、やっぱり出会いを読んでおくのがおすすめ。

このお話の魅力は、一巻ごとに登場する妖精と宝石にもありますが、なんといっても２人の距離が近づいていく、というところにあると思います。
谷先生は心理描写がお上手なので、違和感無く読めますよ！

妖精が見えて人とのつきあいが苦手なリディア。
一方、完璧な容姿とつらい過去を持つエドガー。
この２人がお互いを知ってだんだん近づいていく様は、ほんとどきどきします。


嘘か本気かリディアをくどきまくる女たらし、だけど実際はリディアを大切に想っているエドガーと、うその口説きに乗せられるかと考えつつも少しづつ心をよせていくリディアの２人の関係はすごくいいかんじ！！ぜひ、読んでみてくださいネ（＾＾）

谷瑞恵さんの作品についてははじめてお目にかかった小説です。
妖しげな組織（？）から逃げ出した男は凶悪犯罪に関わっていた！？
妖精博士であるリディアの巻き込まれた事件とは……？
とりあえずイギリスのロンドンが舞台のありそうでなかった妖精ファンタジーもの。

情景描写が少し足りていませんでしたが、そのぶん心理描写が豊富で、
何度もきゅんきゅんさせられたりハラハラさせられたり。
楽しく読ませていただきました。
うーん、妖精とかそういうファンタジーにはどうしようもなく惹かれてしまいます。新鮮でした！

谷さんの作品は初めてなのですが、とにかくはまります。
読み出すと止まらないし、一冊で完結するのに続巻が読みたくなる本です。

妖精の知識もあり、そういうのが好きな方にもオススメですね。

伯爵の甘い口説き文句と切ない叫びに騙されるし、
リディアの焦りようが微笑ましい。

薄情な猫と忠実な大鴉にも注目です。
