ＮＨＫの大河ドラマの影響か否か、最近新撰組関連の作品が増えていますね。
この作者、コバルトで出している作品の多くはＢＬなんで、
それを考えるとこの『あさぎ色の風』は少し異色かな。
精神的な絆に焦点を当てて描いています。
主に沖田と土方の視線で描かれていて、感情移入しやすくもあります。

新撰組が好き、というより人物が好きという方なら、けっこうヒットではないでしょうか。

個人的にはとっても好きですね！といいますか私が新撰組にハマッたきっかけはこの本です！
土方さんと沖田さんが交互に語り部として出てきます。土方さんの視点、沖田さんの視点といった感じで。文章としても面白いとおもいます。
あとこの本の土方さんと沖田さんの関係が私は好きです。上下関係というよりも喧嘩仲間みたいな関係で。
ほんとにちょっとだけこの方の本業(と言っては失礼ですが)のＢＬ要素もありますが、それはこの時代の男色として許せる範囲だと思います。
なんかとんでもなく個人的な意見でしたが参考にしていただけると幸いです

このシリーズは6冊ありますが、本当に何度も何度も飽きずに読み返しました。腐った私の目からはBL寄りに読めてしまいますが、絡みとかなくても精神的な結びつきを感じずにはいられない作品です。
雪船先生のイラストも素敵で、私の中の土方・沖田イメージとぴったりでした。
段々と弱っていく沖田と土方の想いに涙ながらに読みましたが、いつ読み返しても同じ感動を持てる作品だと思います。
第三者的な見方ではなく、沖田視点・土方視点で書かれているところも感情移入しやすいところ・・。

ピースメーカーなんか好きな方には、きっと気に入っていただけると思います。勿論、土沖な方ね！

ちなみに、この巻は京行きを決意するところまでです。
