第一巻が本編186頁までで25話収録、本巻（第二巻）は同136頁の分量で31話収録なので、一話当たりの頁数はかなり減ったが、その分各話間のテンポとキレはよくなったような気がする。相変わらず、奥様のキャラ立ちで読ませる一書。（第40〜42話の「妻の実家の巻」が、こんなことあるあるっぽくてよかった。）今後も楽しみ。

作者の『僕の小規模な失敗』『うちの妻ってどうでしょう？』『生活』や
この作品の1巻が面白かったのでこの2巻も買ってみたのですが、
面白かったものの少々飽きもしました。

さすがに、編集者とのやり取りや妻のネタばかりを繰り返されても
いくら身辺雑記「ほのぼのエッセイ漫画」だとはいえ、ネタ不足マンネリの気味は否めません。
漫画家稼業が軌道に乗って生活が安定してきたゆえ、皮肉にも、
読み物としてスリリングさが減った感もあります。

こういう私小説的形式の漫画の限界みたいなものが見えてくる気がしました。

面白い作家さんだと思いますので新たな展開を期待します。

個人的には
初期や1巻と比べると、随分と読みやすくなった気がする。

あいからわず、妬みや気分の浮き沈みが激しいが
以前のようなギスギスした印象がない。（それが良いか悪いか分からないが）
あとがきに、マンガに関しては充実している。とあったが
精神面で安定しているからかな・・・？
それに、絵柄もますます丸く可愛くなっているからか。

生活も、パーティーに行ったり有名な漫画家に出会ったり
明るい話題が多いし。
主人公の思考回路も、なんとなくわかってきたので
特に不愉快だとか、読んでいて気分が沈むってことはなかった。
むしろ、主人公の右往左往しているとこや
嫁の激怒してダッシュの繰り返しなど
ほほえましいというか、おかしくて笑えた。

嫁の実家に行くエピソードが、特に面白い。

自分だけかもしれないけど、帯にある
「作者初の2巻を記念して〜〜」の文章に地味にわらった。
