コミックス第１巻はかれこれ３０年近く前に買ったので、今では赤茶けてボロボロになっています。でも何度も何度も読み、引っ越しても捨てられず今でも本棚に並んでいます。

最近、きれいな文庫版でも買おうかと思いましたが、サイズが小さいので物足りず、Ｂ５判の愛蔵版は、大きいけれど、宇治十帖篇が省かれているため、買ってはみたものの、かえって不満が残りました。

今回は完全版ということで、今年の７月までに全１０巻刊行予定とのことです。
正直、このお値段は少し迷いました。１０冊分ですし。
しかし、多分一生ものになると思い購入しました。

やはり、買ってよかったです。雑誌掲載当時のカラーページが完全再現されるのは、とてもうれしいです。先生の絵がリアリティを持って迫って来るような気がしました。

子供にも大きくなったら読ませます。

あさきゆめみし、通常版では全巻揃っているのですが･･･
「このページはきっとカラーだったに違いない」というページをカラーで見たいために購入しました。
衣装の色目の美しさに感動。人物だけでなく背景も美しい。
20年来の夢が叶って大満足です。

持っていて決して損をしない作品だと思います。
ずっと大切にしたくなる本です。
私は殊に、留学先に持参する目的で購入しました。
源氏物語は世界に誇れる日本文学ですが、
なかなか日本語の文献や翻訳本ではその良さが
伝わりません。
その点、美しい絵が盛りだくさんのこの作品は、
ぜひ海外の皆さんに紹介するのに最適です。
この本のスタイルで、英語をはじめ、いろんな
言語に翻訳されて欲しいですねー！
