待ちに待った３巻が発売された。
雑誌掲載の時も深く感動した「ヤコブの梯子」が掲載されている。
まるで映画をみているような構成、印象的なマジックのシーン。
なによりも胸を打つ言葉の数々。魂の糧。
「すきとおったほんとうのたべもの」たる物語。
できるだけ多くの人に読んでもらいたいと心から思います。

楽しみにしていた3巻です。テクニックの高いマジック集団、テレビ出演、アメリカと移民、など
どんどん大きな話になってきてます。ハラハラしますが楽しみでもあり、文句なく面白いです！
感心するのは、よくマジックの話でありながら、個人の人生から世界を思うところまで
広い範囲のテーマを結びつけながら、しかもそれを自然に読ませることができるなと
いうことです。しかもちょっとしたギャグっぽいシーンもおかしい。
今回はリングの演技が中心でしたが、とても美しくて演技だけでも一見の価値ありです。

マジシャン良君だけでなくマネージャー北條の人生も気になるところ。
裏表紙は2巻と対比させてるのか同じポーズが笑えました。

待望の第３巻です。マジック集団との接触編「ヤコブの梯子」、主人公・長見良
とそのパートナー・北条のさまざまな葛藤が描かれた「The Last Unicorn」前編〜
中編までが収録されています。

華々しい世界の裏でたくさんの人間の思惑や価値感に翻弄されつつも、
痛みを抱えても自分らしい道をひとり貫こうとする主人公の姿にとても
心が震えます。また人間の生きる糧についても言及していて、
ただ愛することで救われる気持ちをもつようになる人の心の有り様には、
とても共感させられました。
今回の演目であるリングも、美しさの中にさまざまなメッセージがなぞらえて
あって、その完成度の高さには見事というほかありません。

また、この作品は「心の痛み」についてとても細やかで優しい視点があって、
読んでいてとても癒される気持ちになります。作者の、世界に対する優しさ
溢れる願いがきっとそうさせているのでしょう。

こんなに心をもっていかれた作品はかつてありません。名作です。
ぜひ多くの人に読んでもらいたいです。
