２００８年・上半期　うちの蔵書の中で
読み返された回数が最も多いギャグ漫画

世紀末のお勤めを無事に終えた神の子２人
ブッダとイエスは　下界に光臨
東京･立川のアパートをシェアをして
この現代で休暇を楽しんでいる

お金を使うことに慎重で　主婦気質のブッダ
日本の文化に　はしゃぎまくるイエス
（神とはいえ　観光中の外国人だからね）

一見　下町の暮らしに馴染んでいる様でも
隠しようのない神能力で「奇跡」を起こしてしまう２人は
ありふれた日常に　ありえない展開を生みだしていく

mixiで日記を公開するイエスと
手塚治虫の「ブッダ」で感涙にむせぶ御本人が見られるのは
「聖☆おにいさん」だけ！(笑

７月下旬に２巻が出ますぜ

設定だけ聞いて「どっかで聞いた事ある設定だな〜」と思ってしまう作品が多い中【ブッタとイエスが現代社会でアパートをシェアして休暇を楽しむ話】という他には無い設定で、読む前からちょっとワクワクさせてくれる作品です。
めちゃくちゃな“非現実”を“日常”に溶け込ませるのがすごく上手な方だと思いました。
非現実があまりに普通に日常に溶け込むので、そのギャップが面白いです。
子ネタのちりばめ方もお上手で、自分には分からないネタが出て来るとそのネタを知らない事がちょっと悔しくなります。そしてつい調べたくなってしまいます。
Tシャツの柄も意味が分からないものがあったので、これを機に宗教を少し勉強してみようかな（笑）

私はクリスチャンですが、本当に面白かったです。
こっち側のネタが細かいところまで凄いので、多分仏教の方も｢こんなとこまで！｣と思う筈。
知識があるとないとでちょっと面白さが変わるかもしれないけど、知らなくても十分楽しめると思います。
