「ドラゴン桜」では受験を、「銀のアンカー」では就職を、「マネーの拳」では起業を、それぞれ描いてきた三田さんが、「エンゼルバンク」では、転職を描く。しかも、「ドラゴン桜」の続編となっていて、主人公はなんと、あの女教師・井野。桜木や水野も登場する。
転職を悩んでいる人にはお勧めです。
はじめは、井野自身の転職の話ですが、その後、井野が転職代理人になると、依頼者・山口の転職の話となり、井野が、桜木の知り合いである海老沢の下で勉強しながら、山口の転職成功に奮闘します。井野は山口の転職を成功させることができるだろうか!?
いやー、この１巻では、海老沢の話が、とても勉強になった。まず、若者が転職に抱く淡い期待を徹底的に壊してくれます。仲介業者に頼まずに一人で転職をやる人は失敗する確率が高いとか、転職はリセットじゃなくてチューニングだとか、年をとるほど転職回数が増えるほどその人の価値は下がるとか、...。山口の子供っぽい発言も含め、転職回数？回の私には、なかなか耳が痛い内容でした。
この巻では、「人の価値は相場で決まる」というのが非常に印象的だった。この考え方は、自分を客観的に評価する上でとても都合が良いなぁと感心しました。転職においては、いくら実力があっても、それを他人に分かってもらえなきゃ意味がないんですよね。でも、多くの人は、「他人から見える自分」と「自分で感じている自分」とのギャップに気づいていない。自分を客観視するのはなかなか難しいものです..とほほ(-。-;)

　「ドラゴン桜」で東大受験、「銀のアンカー」で就職を扱っているが、「エンゼルバンク」が扱っているのは、「転職」（第1巻では第2新卒が扱われている）である。
　他のシリーズと同様、転職の常識が次々と覆される。読者をいろいろ考えさせるのがとてもよい。社会人成り立てが取りあえずの想定読者であろうか。

　転職後の給与は市場の需給で決まる。普通に行けば、30代半ばの市場価値はゼロ。しかも、転職回数が多いほど給与が下がっていく傾向にあるという。
　「銀のアンカー」の第1巻でも、主要な登場人物である白川義彦に「キャリアアップというほど怪しい言葉はない。
　階段を登っていくような錯覚を与えるが、今の日本の社会にはそんな階段はない」と言わせている。
　でも、それを知った龍山高校の英語教師井野はどうするか？

　「転職」は人生のリセットではなく、チューニングであるというのは眼から鱗が落ちた。桜木がしみじみと「人生にリセットなんてないさ」と言うのは大人の味わいである。

ドラゴン桜の続編。
物語は井野先生が転職を考えるところから始まる。
転職を仲介・交渉する代理人の視点から、転職事情の本質が見えてくる。
「自分の相場を上げる方法」
「転職しなくてもできること」
など、安易に転職を考える人を一喝する。
転職を考える人のみならず、サラリーマンは読んだ方が良いと思う。
