表紙の彼は、「普通の人」とは少し違います。
彼は、文字を読むことが難しい、難読症なのだそうです。

彼のマジックの才能を見抜いた、ある男性との触れ合いから始まるのですが、
彼の諦めや、周囲の人間の不理解、マジックの大会で出会う少年や学校での生活などを通して、彼のような症状を持つ人々の痛みや、彼の周囲の人間の悩みや考え方など、様々な角度から描かれています。

主人公の彼が、暗い性格ではなく、むしろ飄々とした性格であるところが、このような題材を扱っていても読みやすい原因だと思います。
また、マジックの表現も美しく、色んな方に読んでいただきたい作品です。

現在もモーニング２で連載中ですが、彼の未来はきっと明るいと信じています。

手品なんて全然興味がなかった。
書店コミックスコーナーでたまたまプッシュされていたのでなんとなく買ってみた。
最初の数ページで引き込まれた。
すばらしい内容。マンガで表現すべきはこういうものでは？
昨今のかわいいだけでつまらない話ばかりに飽き飽きしている方、騙されたと思って買ってみてください。かなりオススメ。

幼少時、祖父のマジックを目にして感動したサラリーマンの主人公。
ある日、カジノで出会った少年が祖父の弟子だったことを知り、
彼を世界に通用するマジシャンに育てようと腐心する。

第１話の手品シーンから、魂が抜かれたように魅入ってしまいました。
ストーリーも、少年の過去や家族をひっくるめてひきつけられます。

マジックの途中で、少年が自分の話をする場面には思わず涙が
出ました。おすすめです！
