「ひとりの少年のたった5分の演奏がすべてをかえることもある」
森のピアニスト一之瀬海。
数年前のある演奏会、彼の演奏を聴いたものは皆、魅せられ、熱狂した。
その後、表舞台に出場していない彼を認識している人はもうすでにほとんどいない。だが、彼を忘れられず追い求め続けていた人たちがいた。
司馬とその弟子丸山誉子、さらに、音楽関係者である佐賀もそんな一人である。
今巻はそんな彼らを中心に物語が進められる。

長い休載、アッパーズの廃刊を経てついにモーニング誌で不死鳥の如く復活しました。本当にうれしいです。

冴との恋愛ストーリーの後半も描かれているなど、またいつもと違った楽しみもあります。
また、過去に特別エピソードで約1ページだけ再登場していた丸山誉子も成長した姿を見せてくれました。

「音」という誌面で表現するのが困難極まりないものをこれほどまで強く光り輝かせる今作品は本当にすばらしいです。
また、音楽の世界に真摯に生きる人々の生き様をこれほどまで感じさせてくれる本は数少ないと思います。
これからの展開がとても楽しみです。

アッパーズが廃刊になりどうなることかとヒヤヒヤものでしたが
無事連載再開されて良かったです｡恋愛が絡んで甘くなるのかと思いきや
そうではなく良かったです。

そして本格始動！て感じの『引き』…本当に今後が楽しみです。
連載されてる雑誌がモーニングだから雑誌廃刊の心配は無いだろうし､
これからの盛り上がりに多いに期待！！そしてこの著者はその期待に
応えてくれると信じてます！！

…読みすぎてぼろぼろなので新装版の既刊を
買おうかと思っています。…カイのピアノが実際に聴けたらな~♪♪

休止。それはいろんな理由があると思いますが、脚本が行き詰るという場合が多いと思います。
作者は、別の作品を書いてみたり、ぴったり執筆を止めたりしてストーリーが降ってくるのをひたすら待ちます。
その間、ファンはじわじわと期待という作者にとってのハードルを上げるわけです。

大抵の作家は、ハードルを越えれずに勢いが落ちたり、そのまま永遠に休止したり・・・
休止した作品にあまり良い未来はないように思っていました。

ピアノの森も然りと思っていたのですが・・・
余計なお世話でした！
カイを取り巻く環境の変化、恋を経験することでカイ自身の成長。カイを探し出そうとするカイに人生を塗り替えられた３名。
そして、本格始動したアジノ先生。
ピアノの森全体が休止していたブランクを取り戻すかのように急速に動き出し始めました。

いろんな思惑で動く人物が、カイという音楽で１つに繋がったとき、いったいどおなるんだー！

同じ休止している作品として、昴ー！がんばってくれー！
某２０巻、２１巻の二の舞にはならないでくれー！
