家の近くの定食屋さんに置かれているのを目にして以来
少しずつ14巻まで買いすすめてきた、数少ない全巻揃えているマンガです。

なんでも韓国ではこのマンガのおかげで、ワインブームに
火がついたというのがたまに本屋さんの広告のポップで出てますが
別にそんな事抜きにして読んでみてもすごく面白い作品です。
出てくるワインも一本数十万の超高級品から、自分にも手が届く
数千円台の物まで幅広くカバーしていて出てきた物は飲んでみたいと
いう気にさせてくれます（実際、自分も2〜3本買って飲んでみました）。

主人公の神咲雫と紫野原みやびの関係は、どうも美味しんぼでの山岡士郎と
栗田ゆう子の関係と似ているところがありますがそこら辺のちょいベタな感じも
なんか自分のツボにはまってて好きです。
あとワインを飲んだ時のキザったらしい表現も（笑）

なんだかんだ言いましたがこの作品は好きです。

超有名ワイン評論家を父に持つ主人公と、そのライバルである、父によ
って養子縁組された若き天才ワイン評論家とが、究極のメニューならぬ
究極のワインを巡って対決していくという、いわゆるグルメうんちくマンガ
の定型を単になぞったような設定のマンガです。英才教育を施された主
人公、偉大な父、相棒の女の子、馴染みの店の知恵袋的主人、最強の老
人、トリップするテイスター等々(笑)、お約束がこれでもかと言わんば
かりに詰め込まれていますが、それだけに安心して楽しめます。

巻末付録には格付けシャトーやヴィンテージに関する説明があったりと、
ワイン超初心者にとっては、とっかかりの一冊として良いのではないで
しょうか。少なくとも私はワインに対する関心が高まりました。感謝。

ワイン好きの友人が読んでいたので、手に取ってみる。たくさんのワインの銘柄や説明が出てきます。ワインの知識のあるなしに関わらず物語自体を純粋に楽しむことができます。表現や展開がやや大げさな感じがしますが、続きを読みたくなる内容です。
