　モーニング連載時からの『えの素』ファンだったので、この本の発売を知って大喜びで買ったのですが、正直なところやや期待はずれでした。参加作家の作品やコメントとそれぞれが選んだ『えの素』一編という構成で、あの「メビウス」の参加や吉田戦車らとの対談など読ませるところも少しはあるものの、コアなファンはこの内容では全然物足りないのではないでしょうか。
　と文句ばかり書きましたが、そんな中でも巻頭ピンナップでの寺田克也描く葛原さんの美しさ（特に眼！）と、あの竹谷隆之による造形作品の超下品さは一見の価値ありです。ちなみに当方、これらの部分のインパクトだけでこの本を手放さずに永久保存することを決心いたしました。

榎本作品は「comic cue」でしか読んだことがなかったのですが、この本の参加メンバーのあまりの豪華さに買ってしまいました。読後は、さらに豪華なメンバーだって可能だったと思いました。

各々のトリビュート作品と併せて、その作家が好きな「えの素」の各回が掲載されているのが
素晴らしいです。おかげで「えの素」未体験者の私にも、作品が持つ数ある魅力のエッセンスが楽しめました。

榎本作品に没頭するきっかけとなったありがたい一冊です。
