書き下ろしはごくわずかであり、
内容は本編からのものが殆ど。
コミックスを集めている方には新鮮味の薄い内容。
この価格は少し高いように感じる。
井上氏の描線の美しさをコミックスや雑誌よりも大きいサイズで、高品質の印刷で見られることに価値を感じられるならば買ってもいいと思います。

プロのマンガ原稿を見たことのある人なら、印刷された絵がいかに多くの情報を捨ててしまっているかよくご存じのことと思う。世間で特に「上手い」と言われてはいないマンガ家でさえ、原画はやはり常人離れしているものだ。
まして井上雄彦である。
この画集をさらっと眺めただけでも、安く販売するために捨てざるを得なかった情報が如何に多いかが想像できるのではないだろうか。

いつの日か、マニア向けの超高額本でもいいから、良い印刷で井上雄彦の作品が読める日が来ることを祈りたくなるような本だ。

逆に言うと、雑誌連載や単行本の印刷で満足できる人には無用の長物と言えるかも知れない。

『バガボンド』大ファンなくせにこの画集の発売を知らなかった私…
そんな愚かな自分に怒りを覚えながらもようやく年明けに購入。

何人かの方が言われているようにコミックでの絵が多いですね。
ただ、コミックでは１場面としてさらりと見ていたものが、
こうして１枚の絵として鑑賞してみるとまた違った魅力が見えてきます。
コミックは全巻購入して何回も読んでいますが画集も買って後悔はありません。

でもさすがに空白のふきだしも入っているイラストはなんかなぁと思います。
書き直せまでとは言いませんが、せめてそういうイラストはチョイスして欲しくなかった。
あれでは露骨にコミックのをそのまま載せていますと言っているようなものです。

あと２冊同時購入の特典ですが、ちと期間が短すぎませんか。
発売から約１ヶ月ぐらいの間しか申し込み期間無かったですよね。
せっかく２冊買ったのに締切りが過ぎていて泣く泣く諦めることになりました。
期間が終わっているなら帯を外す等の考慮をして欲しかったです。
（もしかして私が買ったのは書店の売れ残り分だったのかな？）
