~端的にいうと「アキラ」の海外版コミックスに日本語のセリフを入れ込んだものです。……が！そのセリフは原作とは全く違い「英訳をさらに和訳したもの」で、明らかに大友氏のドライブ感を解さぬ者の仕事です。全ての場面においてたどたどしく稚拙。ちょっと英語のできる主婦のパート仕事程度といえば解ってもらえるでしょうか。全く「ネオ東京」の世界に没入~~できず、読後感は最低の一言です。印刷も決してよくなく、もしや海外版製品を直接スキャンしたものにセリフをレイアウトしただけのお手軽商品ではと勘ぐりたくなるほど。大友氏のファンであるからこその苦言です。コレクションとしての価値しか見いだせません。

最悪です
台詞等については他の方も書いていらっしゃいますが
なによりも画が最悪です
この頃の大友克洋に顕著な繊細かつ豪胆な描画が
後付けの彩色によりほぼ完全に押しつぶされてしまっています
とても見れたものじゃありません

この価格でこの内容は信じられないよ！なんで今の技術で日本語版のカラー版を作らないのか？昔のデジタル技術の焼き直しをしてＦＡＮが喜ぶとでも思っているのだろうか？もう本当にＦＡＮをバカにしている企画です。セリフも英訳→邦訳という意味のわからないことをして、原作にあるシリアスな笑いとかもぜんぜんなくなっている。原作版のまんまで良いのに余計なことをなぜするのか？もう腹が立ってしかたがない本です！
