やはりこの巻の愁眉は、筑波洋と良のやりとりでしょう。
第１部での単独エピソードよりもはるかに強く、深く、
洋の優しさ、悲しさ、人間的魅力が描かれています。

「あれが俺の、仮面ライダーとしての最初の仕事だった…」

迷いながら、仮面ライダーとして戦う道を選びつつある良の心の奥底に、
「それでも、人類のために戦っていいんだ」という洋の言葉は、
どれほどの優しさと重さを伴って響いたことでしょうか。
洋のことを本気で心配し、
「アイツは死んだりしない！」と叫ぶ良の表情が、それを物語る。
洋の言葉があってこそ、「仮面ライダーは１０人だ、俺を入れてな！」
と、迷いなく宣言することができたのでしょう。

京都編では、飄々とした雰囲気の中に、悲しみと強さを秘める隼人と、
どんな共闘を見せるか、楽しみにしています。

ついに仮面ライダーを名乗り、戦いに参戦したZX。戦いの後、抵抗感が残るZXを見てスカイは、最初に自分が変身した時の事を話すします。だが自分には消し去る事のできない過去に頑なに態度を示すZXを見て、「それでも人間の為戦っていいんだ」と言うスカイの言葉が迷うZXを助けます。これがZXの迷いを断ち切る事になった事を見て、何故最初にスカイだったのかがわかりました。数多いライダーの中で人の哀しみを感じ、優しさを忘れないライダー彼しかいなかったと思います。ライダーの使命、それは人類の自由と平和だけではなく、哀しみから人を救う事だと言う事をあらためて知りました。その事からも平成シリーズの原点となるクウガ・アギトの原動力は既にあったと思います。昭和のライダー達こそ真のライダーだと言う方々がいますがその通りだと思います。出来不出来の差が激しい平成シリーズより是非読んでいただきたい作品です。

バダンの手先から.JUDOが宿るべき身体の仮主となり.自分の過去.記憶を取り戻した村雨良が.8巻の最後に仮面ライダ−を名乗る！そのZXがスカイライダ−やSPIRITSとの共闘のなかで.本当の仮面ライダ−となってゆく姿！.........高野2号のようにキザでなく.佐々木2号より.もっと子供のような明るさを持つ一文字の活躍！今回も読み応えアリ！ですよ！
