徐々にＺＸが“仮面ライダー”としての自覚を持ち始めるシーンは、
いちライダーファンとしてとても感慨深いものがあります。
ストロンガー対ＺＸの決闘シーンも見物です。
加えて、ショッカー及びネオショッカーの怪人軍が登場するシーンは、
まさに垂涎モノです！
そして、遂に彼は“仮面ライダーＺＸ”と名乗り、スカイライダーと共闘を決めたシーンで８巻の幕は下ります。
ページ数の少なさも全く気になりませんでした。とにかく今巻も最後まで内容に引き込まれました。
村枝さんが今後、どのような熱きドラマを描くか非常に楽しみです。

この第二部はまさしくＺＸが仮面ライダーになるまでの物語でした。
幕開けは一号のライダーキック、中盤ではＶ３のＶ３キック、
そして最後のストロンガーの超電稲妻キックと他のライダーとの蹴り技
の応酬を交えてＺＸ＝村雨の成長を描写する構成が素晴らしい。
記憶（自分）探しのためにバダンの尖兵となっていた時は一号に完敗、
記憶を取り戻したゆえに復讐にこだわってしまった時はＶ３に判定負け、
そして今回、己を捨てて人々のために戦う決意を固めてストロンガーと引き分け。
スペック的には先輩と互角以上だったのに勝てなかったのは、
彼にライダーとして一番必要なものが欠けていたから。
何はともあれ１０人目の仲間としてＺＸを迎え入れバダンとの総力戦
に突入する第三部へとなだれ込み一層、盛り上がっていきます。

第2部終盤、ゼクロスVSストロンガーにて、あそこでゼクロスがもしあの親子を助けなければストロンガーは確実にとどめを刺していたでしょうね。
だからこそ何も言わず良達のもとを去り内心では死を求める良の目を覚ませるための行為なのかなと受け取れます。
そして、本郷の言葉で『仮面ライダーZX』が誕生!!
第3部へ。
収録している4話分(序章を含む)の中でも良かったのは第3話のゼクロスと千弘の会話、「俺も…本当は…あいつらのように…」
ここらあたりのやりとりですね。
そしてネオショッカーとスカイライダーの前で千弘曰くケンカの前の流儀の挨拶
「仮面ライダーZX!!」

彼が仮面ライダーとして戦いに挑む姿に期待大です。
