セガサターンから存在する『サクラ大戦』。
そこからドリームキャスト、小説、ＣＤ、アニメなど展開してきましたが、
漫画だけはなかった。。。
(その理由は読んでみたら分かるんですが…)

そういった中で、出された作品がコレ。
ストーリーは広井王子さん、
キャラ原案はあったりまえですが藤島康介さん、
でも描いてる人は政一九という人。
初め見たときは、いかなるものか…,藤島さんが描いてほしかったなぁ
とか思ったんですが、しかし！いいっ！
何がと言うと、丁寧なんです。
確かにゲーム(１と２)に比べると違う！と思いますが、
立ち絵と違い動きのある静止画で
あそこまで原画に近づけてるのは素晴らしいです！
やはり、キャラの特徴をしっかりと掴んでいるからだと思います。

ストーリー面は、
多少の変化はありますが、忠実にゲームをなぞってると思います。
そこにちょっとした裏側をプラスしたものです。
１巻はゲームで言う１話目のＡパートだけと少ないです。

ゲームをした事がある人は、細かな描写が納得できます。
(２巻ですが、葵叉丹が後ろ向いてたり…)
ゲームをしたことない人は、伏線が結構あったりするので、
初めはわからないと思いますが、次第にわかっていくと思います。

ゲームplayの有無は関係なく楽しめます。

あの人気ゲーム『サクラ大戦』の漫画版です。
この企画で最も賞賛に値するのは、作画のクオリティです。
この手の企画はえてして無残なものになりがちです。しかし、これほど生き生きと花組のみんなが描かれることになろうとは。サクラ大戦ファンならば、必ずや満足します。

絵の雰囲気はキャラクター原案の藤島さんよりも、ゲーム挿入アニメの作画監督・松原氏に近い。好みが分かれるが、私は松原派なので嬉しい限り。
原作は広井王子が担当。全く隙がない布陣です。
ストーリーは、しょっぱなから降魔がでるので、巻いていくのかな。
間違いなくマストアイテムです。お勧めします。

「サクラ大戦」ファンにとっては、ゲーム発売当初から
ずっと囁かれ続けていた「漫画化」。今回、やっと
希望が叶った感がある。
　視点は、ゲームと同様に「大神一郎」の目線で
捉えられている。彼が成長するという事は、漫画を
通して私達ファンも成長するんだろう。
　続きが、大いに楽しみである。
