１巻では顔見せ程度で去ってしまった岡野嬢が、今回は出づっぱりだったので、彼女についてよく知ることができたのがよかったです。
立場上、興味本位で詮索好きな男に辟易しているくせに、自分自身は気になったことは尋ねずにいられない、ちょっと矛盾した性格とか、アクの強い大塩さんに憧れていると言い切れるところとか、美点も欠点も含め、とても愛すべき女性だと思います。「胸は平らでも話は起伏に富んでいる」という表現には大受けしました。

岡野嬢だけでなく、どのキャラクターも「美点も欠点も愛すべき人々」というところに、サライネスさんのファンとしては、「大阪豆ゴハン」の夢再びと祈らずにいられません。

やっぱいいよねぇ、サラ・イネスの作品。でも、言葉じゃなかなか表現できないんですよ。センスというか、感性がフィットしないとこのよさはわからないかも。だから、いわゆるベストセラー作品にはならないんでしょうね・・・。大衆受けしないだろうから。
むしろ、男性より女性の方がわかってもらえるかも。いや、男性もわかってほしい！
みなさん、安いので、電車の中や夜寝る前に軽い気持ちで読んでみてください。あ、でも誰も寝ちゃいけないんだっけ!?

三十路のおじさんたちが活き活きと描かれていてとても面白い作品です。自分も同年代なので、こんな人達と一緒に働けたらどんなに毎日が楽しいだろうと思います。

寝る前や、疲れた時に読むのがおすすめです。
