天然のほほんでいつもお天気の床屋さんの日常と、
かわいいけど恋愛不器用を絵に描いたようなOLとの
気楽なラブコメディです。

題材はきわめて日常的ですが、他に類を見ないテンポなので、
最初は少しとっつきにくかったのですが、
回を重ねるにしたがってだんだん深みを増す人物描写が愉快な漫画です。

その中でマスターの空想癖（メルヘん）がアクセントとして笑いを誘います。これは欲や手垢を感じさせないやわらなか心地よさです。
老若男女、誰にでもオススメできますね。

形態はいわゆるストーリー四コマですが、コマ割と枠外の書き込みっぷりも、実はこの漫画をとても味わい深いものにしています。

私としては「メルヘん」の「ヘ」は平仮名なのか片仮名なのかが謎です。どっちなんでしょう。

おもしろいです。
意中の相手になかなか思いが伝わらずイーッっとなってしまうイライラが、本当に自分が片思いをしているときのような感じになってしまいました。
徐々に主人公東子と片思いの相手床屋のマスターとの心が近づいていくあたりなんかはほんとに恋の予感にどきどき。
ちょっととぼけたハッピーなストーリーにもう病み付きです。

関西出身者として言わせていただくと、作中の人物の掛け合いなんかは、大阪でも北摂地域の人々の雰囲気がよーーく出てます。

是非読んでみてください。お勧めです。

　「小池田マヤが満を持しておくる、なごみショートの決定版！」と紹介にありますが、これに勝るレビューはないのです。。

　一話６ページ。必ず３ページ目にマスター（馬場皆人）の「えーなぁ~~（メルへん）」が入る。それは、温泉につかるお猿さんの光景だったり、夜桜であったり、頭にバリカンで街を描く図（彼は散髪屋！）だったりする。

なんでそんなん想像するかって？いやーこれが、とてつもないところで『メルへん』 しちゃうから、まず読んでみてみないことには、マスターのお気楽極楽発想はつかめません！

　こんな風に、なんでも感動したら生きやすいんだろなー、とマジにとる必要は・・・・ありません！

　ただただ、マスターという生き物に癒されるべし、そんで、その周りに集まる人々（彼は散髪屋！）の生態を観察すべし！です。
　みんな普通の人達なんだけど、視点を変えてみるとこんなにオモロイ！（彼らは関西人！）

　最後におまけ。小池田マヤの描く女性は、みんなキュート！ひねてたり、強がってたり、けばかったり、みんな「いいこ」ではないんだけど、かわいい!のです。
