相克という閉塞 を砕く 創作という闘争
悲劇という現実 を掬う 止揚という偉業
泥と血に塗れながら 地に叩きつけられた拳
巻き上げられた土に託された哀しみの発露に
どうか読者という神の祝福を。

　主人公、住田は「平凡な人間」を自認する中学生である。私だけは「特別」「死なない」などと思い込んでいる人が多くいそうな中で、住田は高らかに語る。普通であるだけだと。漫画家を目指す赤田に対しても夢は平等ではないと。彼は夢に向かって生きる同学年のきいちに対しても全て金で買えないものはないと豪語する。魂でさえも。シニカルなこの若者は何もかも妬ましく見えるようにも見える（がんばっている人間、夢を追う人間、何かを成し遂げようとしている人間に対して。それでも住田は何も成そうとはしないが）。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　このマンガから漂う絶望感は今後一定の距離を保ちつつ変わりそうにないが、こうした予感を抱えながらどうやって読んでゆくのかが考えどころだろう。母親の失踪、その時点で彼は彼が望んでいた普通の人ではなくなってしまう（父も不在）。古谷実君、彼らしからぬマンガのように見えるが、彼が一度きっちりとこういった形で消化したかったものなのだろう。この眼鏡は５つ星と見た。眼鏡をシンチョウしても良さそうです。私は来るべき日を予感しながらも、それに至る過程を真摯に見ていきたい。やがて訪れるであろうあの具現化した怪物が最も近づく時、この物語は終えていることだろう。続きが読みたい。何冊出ているのか、４冊？思ったよりも速く読めそうです。

この作者は、どこにでもいるフツーの「ダメ人間」を描くのがすごく
うまい。ダメな自分とだらだら続く日常がいやだけど、努力するのはもっといや。
努力するヤツが羨ましい。ねたましい。うっとおしい。

このリアルな心理、きらめく一直線の青春を送ってきた人にはわからないだろな。

僕は、痛いほど共感してしまう。ダメ人間のダメ思考が、嫌悪感を

感じるほどに。この転落も人事ではない、かも。
