実際にいそうでそんなにいない。
在りそうでそうでもない。
そんな感覚、分かりますか？

でも、子供ってこんなものなのかもしれません。
親の思惑どうりに育たないほうが自然なのかもしれません。
でも、彼彼女を見ていると、なんだかこんなこいてほしいと思います。
落ち着きます。それでいて、子供らしいところもあり、ほっとします。

しかし、たまに超人的な能力を発揮するところもあり、
どきどきわくわくします。
はたまた、親の帰りを待っていること、二人寂しいお正月を迎えるところなんか、泣きます。
何でしょうね、この感覚。
まるで自分の子供を見ているような感覚です。

そんな、おやの気持ちを知りたい方、子供帰りしたい方、

猫と一緒に住む犬の気持ちを知りたい方、ぜひこの作品を読んでみてください。安達哲氏のワールドに引き込まれるはずでございます。

安達哲作品に流れる、独特なある雰囲気・空気がわたしは大好きなのだけど、まさにそれを濃縮させたような１冊。
ものすごく、深いようで、実は何もなかったりする。
逆に深い、のだけど、やっぱり何もない。
「けがれなき子ら」には笑いました。

『週間ヤングマガジン』に月一回、カラーで四ページずつ、という微妙な連載形態で発表されてきた作品が、ようやくまとめられました。

物語は、極端にデフォルメされた容姿の、ある幼い姉と弟の日常を淡々と描く。礼儀正しく、無邪気で純粋、そしてやけに年寄りじみた「通」な趣味も持つこの姉弟は、町の人たちに「バカ姉弟」と呼ばれて可愛がられ、そのピュアさゆえにしばしば縁起物として拝まれたりもする。ある時はお菓子をもらってはしゃぎ、ある時は大人を猜疑心に追い込む突っ込みを放つ。それでいて、推定３歳（？）。

姉弟と、彼らに関わる人たちとの「ほのぼの」や「どたばた」としても十分楽しめます。でも、それだけではない。何気ない描写や何てことないセリフ、そしてちょっとした「間」に不思議な感覚が入り込む。公然と人々から「バカ」と呼ばれるこの幼い姉弟にこそ、本当のものが見えているのかもしれない。彼らを通して観ると、深いものに少し触れられる。

そして、読んでいる人も「バカ姉弟」が好きになってしまう。
