　２００４年についにアニメ化されたロックバンド
漫画です！
　どこにでもいそうな平凡な中学生の少年「コユキ」
が少しの勇気を振り絞った行為から青年に出会い、
その出会いが少年と音楽をめぐり合わせます。
　私自身もバンドを組んでいた経験があり、それも
あって面白そうだなと読んでみたのですがこれはおもしろい！
キャラクターがそれぞれ非常に立っていて個性的でその
からみが面白く、しかも生々しい！そして作者の人間描写
もリアルで感情が伝わってきやすい！
　個人的に一番すごいと感じたのがライブの直前の
シーンです。イベント開始前の独特の緊張感があるのですが、
漫画のシーンからそれが伝わってきます。バンドを組ん
でた時を思い出しました！
　音楽をやっている人は「チャラついた感じ」と敬遠し
がちなジャンルの漫画ですが、リアルにバンドマンの苦悩
や醍醐味、熱い気持ちが描かれてますので、バンドを始めた
ころの情熱を呼び起こされることと思います。お勧めです！

読もう読もうと思いながら読まずにいた本作を、
まとめて読破してみました。
噂に違わぬ面白さで、
何度も鳥肌が立ってしまいました。

実はなかなか読み始めなかった理由は、
ハロルド先生の過去作品「ストッパー毒島」の鑑賞後に、
違和感を感じたからです。
終わりに向かうにつれて尻すぼみに、
作品のパワーが落ちていった感じを受けて、
残念だった思いがあり、
私はなかなか本作に手を付けられずにいました。

しかし本作を読み始めたら、
次々と盛り上がりの波が押し寄せて来て、
そんな懸念などあっという間に吹き飛んでしまいました。

本作を読んで私は、
ハロルド先生のロックへの愛を強く感じたと同時に、
好きなものを描いた作品には作者の想いがこもり、
読者にもその想いが伝わり、
そうして傑作は生まれるのだと感じました。

次巻の発売が楽しみな作品が増えて嬉しいです。

「のだめカンタービレ」を読んで、
音楽マンガを好きになった「ＢＥＣＫ」未読の方、
本作で男達のロックも味わってみませんか？

ライブ好きのツボにはまるよ、とまずはアニメの方を勧められて見始めてハマって・・・じゃあ原作はどうなのよ、と読んでみたらこれまた面白い！まあ、確かにこの原作に限って言えば物語のテーマがバンドやライブでなくっても良さそうだし、現在音楽を生業としている人間がシンクロできる内容かって言うとそれはちょっと厳しい。（これからバンドやってみたい人には悪くない）しかしこのマンガの勢いみたいなモノにいつの間にか巻き込まれてしまう感じがあり、終いまで本を閉じることを許してくれない。アニメにはないこれ以上下品になれない下世話なギャグや汚すぎる描写にもいつの間にか笑いがこみ上げてしまう。（実際、このマンガのコアな読者はアニメの方はきれいすぎて物足りないとの感想をもらしていた）有無を問わさず巻き込むその力強い描写はありえない世界も難なく描き出してくれる作者の途方ない才能に脱帽する長編物語である。
