　　偏差値40未満高校から現役で東大合格を目指す。東大受験にチャレンジするのは、水野と矢島の二人。それぞれ家庭に問題をかかえる生徒です。

　受験は方法論と精神の持ちようがかなり重要。作者はその点をずいぶん研究してるようです。本書では、伝説の数学教師が登場するところまでですが、2巻以降に出てくる勉強の方法論はなかなかあなどれない。本書登場の「古典は漫画を読んで内容を理解する」というのも正論ですね。2巻以降意外な方法論が盛りだくさん！東大に入れるかどうかはともかく、モチベーションの高め方や脳科学に基づいた勉強方法はけっこうためになります。
　1巻は、まだ勉強法や受験生の心理に深く立ち入らないので星３つにしておきます。今後に期待。

　「社会のルールは頭のいいヤツに都合のいいように作られてる」っていう桜木の発言はなかなか言い得て妙だなあ…。

「一人一人の個性を尊重し、人間性と思いやりの心を育む」
この作品に登場する教師の一人の言葉ですが、こんな漠然としたスローガンのもと、面白くもない授業を押し付けられているのが今の子供ではないでしょうか。これでは勉強が嫌いになっても仕方ありません。

正直言って、東大にさえ入れば人生ラクできるという桜木の言葉には引っかかるものがあります。でも、彼が語る処世術は確かに真実を言い当てているし、彼が選んだ教師たちの実に独創的な授業方法には、惹きつけられるものがあります。

勉強に対して無気力な高１の息子に、なんとかして学ぶ喜びを知ってほしいと思って買ってみました。先にこの１巻だけ買って、続きはどうしようかと迷っていましたが、最新刊まで買い揃えて正解でした。
各巻それぞれに意表をつく受験勉強のコツが提示されていて、教育界で名をなした先生の講義が載っているのでお勧めです。

お金儲けをしたければ胴元になれ

この本は当たり前のことを当たり前に言っていて普段忘れかけていたことに気づかせていただきます。

世の中のシステムを構築している人達が東大の人達という事実は動かしようもない事実であり、その事実を受け止めることもこの世の中で楽に生きていきたいのであれば至極当然のことではないかと思います。

東大というツールは非常に強力です。

全てはシステムである。
この事実をわかりやすく伝えてくれる素晴らしい本だと私は思います。
