バタアシ金魚、お茶の間などで知られる望月峯太郎のホラー作品。
それまでの「ほのぼのギャク漫画」から一転、
本当に身の毛がよだつほどのホラー。
ホラー度ではドラゴンヘッドより上だと、私は思いました。

この作品は「ほら、怖いでしょ？」「怖がってよ、ねえ」という感じではなく、
深層心理に訴えかける怖さがあります。

「ストーカー」という単語が世に知れ渡る前に書かれた作品（実際の行為や被害者はいましたけど）であるところにまた恐怖が。

はっきり言って、私はホラーが苦手で、
てっきりバタアシ金魚系の流れだと思って買ったんですが、
読んでみてびっくり。怖いのにページをめくる手がやめられない。
あまりの怖さで、ほかの望月作品全部あるのに、

この作品だけはうちにありません。あまりの怖さに、
うちにおいときたくなくて、あげちゃいました。

「黒い家」読んだときも思いましたけど、やっぱり一番怖いのは人間です。

図抜けた身体能力と我慢強さを兼ね備えた女ストーカーが
ちょっとしたことで出会った大学生をつけ回す話。

身体能力…昆虫のような姿勢を保ちつつ、四つんばいで高速移動できる。
　　　　　二足での走行も、インターハイに出場した兄ちゃんが追いかけても
　　　　　追いつけないほど。
我慢強さ…先の兄ちゃんは空手もやっている。急所に蹴りを入れるが、痛がりながらも
　　　　　襲い掛かってくる。
ストーキング行為…獲物の部屋に手紙を残すが、書き損じがかなりサイコ入っている。
　　　　　文章では表せないので見てください。すごいです。じっくり観察し、
　　　　　憎い相手に精神的ダメージを与える手紙が書けるようになりましょう（？）
　　　　　いつの間にか合い鍵を作り、侵入する。

あんまり書くと読んでからの面白みが失われるのでここら辺にしておきますが、
容姿がまたすごい。伝線しまくったストッキング、ざんばらの髪、薄汚いコートと、
およそ普通の女性とは思えない。

こんな人に追い回されたら生きた心地がしないでしょう。
最後の台詞の時の表情、寒気がしました。かなり気合入れて描いているなあと思いました！！
怖いっすよ。

ちなみに、脇役ですが、女子高生のおねーちゃんがなかなかかわいらしいです。

「ドラゴンヘッド」の望月峯太郎が描く現代ホラー。こんな女ストーカーにターゲットにされたら僕なら間違いなく発狂します。「リング」の貞子を大柄にして、より人間に近くした感じでしょうか。ホラー漫画雑誌に載っているようなあざといホラーではないので、恐怖マニアな人にはやや不満かもしれませんが、望月ファンなら押さえておくべきかも。
