最近、巷の沙村ファンの間では
「最近趣味に走り過ぎ」というような意見が多いようです。
しかしながら、「何を今さら」という感じがします。
　確かに最近の巻では、描写がより一層サディスティックな性趣向を前面に出してきたな。というのは否めない。
　しかし、最初から氏の若干、いや相当歪んだ趣向、ﾌｪﾁｼｽﾞﾑこそ、氏の作品の源泉であったのではないかと思うのです。生体実験とか、作風の修正、精緻でしかも考えつくされた実験的構図なんかは、最早氏のﾌｪﾁｼｽﾞﾑそのものの昇華でしかない。ましてそのﾌｪﾁｼｽﾞﾑは露骨に表明されるのではなく、作品の複雑なﾌﾟﾛｯﾄに取り込まれて昇華している。
「おひっこし」なんかの素晴らしく狂った世界観はまさにその最たるものだと思います。
　
　嫌悪感、大いに結構だと思います。少なくとも健全な人間にはこんないかれた作品は作れない・・・。

全巻までの長かった不死力解明編で鳴りをひそめていた剣劇アクションが今巻で待ってました大爆発！！
天津たち４人の逸刀流剣士の精鋭たちが江戸城を襲撃！！
４人対１００人以上？の剣劇が作者の圧倒的な描写力で展開します。
圧巻の一言！読んでいて身震いがします。これこそが無限の住人の最大の魅力でしょう！
外道剣士の尸良も再登場し、次巻からはいよいよ卍たちと逸刀流、吐たちの激闘が描かれそうです。
無限の住人のファイナルバトルが待ち遠しい！！

4.0 out of 5 stars この巻だけで何人斬りなんでしょう, 2008/6/29
女性を嬲ってレイプして目を覆う残酷な死体にして放置、というシーン。
今までは尸良の強さと残虐な面をこれでもかと見せるための場面と読んで
いたのですが、作者の趣味と知って正直嫌悪感で見てられなかった。
迫力ある画面で派手に斬りまくるシーンも格好いいし、魅せる力が
相変わらずあると思うのですが、逸刀流が理由も不明なまま散々大暴れ
した後に、納得してしまいそうな一理ある口上あたりの部分でも、逸刀流って
そもそもそんな集団だっけ？と思ってしまう点もあったり、
いつも好きで楽しみにしてる漫画ですが、破綻した作者の無茶な趣味
漫画化しないといいな…と願うばかりになってきました。
この巻はとりあえず個人的には楽しめなかった。
次巻も買いますけど、もともと好きな人だけ読んでという漫画だと
思うので、スッキリ終わるのかなぁという気がしてきました。
