長い試合が終ったので、西浦メンバーの普段の生活が戻ってきて、楽に読めます！！
主人公がピッチャーなので、試合中は力が入り過ぎて疲れちゃうのが
野球マンガというやつなので、
こういう、エピソードの積み重ねの日常の物語は力を抜いて読めますね〜〜〜

浜田、花井、モモカン、篠岡（マネージャー）などの試合中はあまり活躍しない（失礼な!!）人たちの、個人的な話がおもしろいです。
逆に出ずっぱりだった、三橋、阿部、田島の３人はちょっと少ないんじゃないの？と言う感じで、脇役に徹しています。
高校球児の日常はいそがしいんですね・・・。
三橋はピッチャーなので、練習が他の人よりぬるいので、終った後元気のあまってる田島とどこかに消える・・・・というのが、リアリティあって笑えました。

野球好きの友人から紹介された漫画、僕は本気ではまった。

小さいころからバッターとピッチャーの勝負を
詰め将棋と同じように考え、ピッチャーの持ち球、バッターの好きなコースを
意識しながら野球中継を見ていた。
ピッチャーとバッターの心理戦に痺れながら野球中継を見ていた。

この漫画は、主人公がコントロール完璧という設定で、野球の試合も心理戦が中心にきてる。僕が想像していた野球の試合が、漫画で描かれていてた。
野球の試合をベンチや選手、バッテリーにバッターの心理戦を想像しながら見ていた人間にとってはど真ん中の野球漫画です。

特に、この巻に描かれている負けた側の心理風景画は腹に響いた。
力を出し切れずに負けた人間が、何年もスポーツニュースを見れないという表現。
結構真面目に部活に打ち込んだ経験がある人間には共通する心理ではないだろうか。
このような細かい心理描写が最高。

中学、高校に野球部がなかったため甲子園を目指した経験はありませんが
小さいころから桑田選手をヒーローと崇めていたような
私のような人間にはコントロール中心の三橋くんの成長から目が離せません。
今後も追い続けて生きたい作品です。

「満足してんなよ〜。・・・・してんのか？」
スクイズで1点返した4番の花井君に、
怪我で、1番打者にまわった、田島君が声をかける。
―え？１点返したじゃん。
スクイズは監督の指示なのに、満足しちゃだめなわけ？
花井君は思うけど、
スクイズのサインをもらう4番じゃダメなのだ！
いつもは無邪気な田島君の野球にかける熱意が現れた
印象深いシーンです。

延長戦までも楽しんでしまう、敵高校、崎玉の大地君もいい味だしていて、
今後の試合が楽しみである。
