６巻に引き続き対桐青戦、８回裏まで収録されてます。
この試合は８巻にて決着がつくもよう。

三橋と阿部はもちろんのこと、
この巻では田島、そして水谷がキーになってます。
守備中の桐青キャッチャー・河合や阿部を見ていると、
野球というスポーツがどれだけ頭を使うかわかります…。

以前はちっとも野球に興味の無かった私ですが、
「おおきく振りかぶって」に出会ってから
どんどん野球の魅力に引き込まれています。
相変わらず細かいところまで描き込まれた、
レベルの高い仕上がりになっています。

ふにゃふにゃ主人公の直球青春漫画・第７巻
楽しみに待ってました。

西浦対桐青戦のクライマックスです。
ここまで手が出せなかった三橋のストレートですが、桐青ナインは徐々にその性質を見極めていきます。
どこまでも頼りない（性格的に）主人公のピッチングにハラハラ（笑）　頑張れ三橋！

どうすれば得点できるか。どうすれば打たせないか。
ひとりひとりの工夫が試合を動かしていきます。後付の知識ではなく、現在進行形で起こる戦略を読者は浸れるから、こんなに分かりやすくて、面白いのかもしれません。
敷居は低いが、奥は深い。野球をやらない人でも白熱して読める「おおきく振りかぶって」　お勧めです☆

やっとというか、なんというか
桐青戦も終盤まで来ました。

この作品読んでて思うのは
非常に月並みですけど、先が読めないことですよね。
主人公のいるチームが十分負けることもありうる。
作品の書かれ方に‘負け’という要素がしっかり組み込まれている。
だから、ハラハラするし、続きがとても気になる。

特にこの７巻ではそういった要素が
最たる形で現れてます。
とてもじゃないけど、漫画にありがちな主人公側のチームが
最後にはどうせ勝つんだろうなあ的感覚は
微塵も脳裏をよぎりません。

だから、だから・・・早く９巻読みたい！！！
コミック派の私はこれに尽きます。
