5.0 out of 5 stars ここ数年で読んだ4コマ漫画で一番面白かった, 2007/3/13
とにかく爆笑しました。
男性読者はみんな作者と友達になりたいと思ったんじゃないでしょうか。
「土に埋めたら強くなる」とか「自分で彫った仏像が捨てれなくなる」とか、
男にとっての『子供のころってこんなこと考えてたなぁー』という思考パターンを
残したまま大人になった作者の日常は、端から見ると笑いの洪水です。
しかも作者はそれを「あるあるネタ」だと思って描いているというのもすごく面白い。
逆に女性読者の中には、作者の行動に本気で引いた人も少なくないと思います。
今後「子供っぽい男が好き」という女性にはこの漫画を貸して
「本当に子供っぽい男っていうのはこういう人のことだぞ」と言ってやりたいぐらい、
味のある人物だなと感じました。次の巻が出るのはもう何年も先のことでしょうが、
ずっと楽しみに待っていられるぐらいの傑作です。

表紙絵にもなっている（虚ろな）笑顔がまぶしい著者を主人公とした「貧ヒマ」系の実録四コマにして、昨今最強レベルの笑いが詰まっています。
月刊アフタヌーン編集部の出す「お題」に応じて、著者が奇癖や情けない思いこみを暴露し続ける、という、お笑いウルトラクイズかよというハードな設定です。
つねにお笑いポジションを要求される関西人として「おもんない」ことを極端に恐れるあまり、オリジナル一人遊び（ライダー消しゴム同士を戦わせて膨大な対戦結果をパソコンでデータ化したり、ぬいぐるみのクマに暗殺を仕掛けたり、酔った勢いで工作したインチキ神のたたりを本気で恐れたりなど）に熱中し過ぎ、あげく周囲からどんどん浮いていく著者の半生が描かれます。
これがどうして面白いマンガになるのかというと、著者キャラが常識人を諦めきれずに変人のキワを右往左往する、その中途半端さにつきるでしょう。これがめっぽうスリリング。
常識人になりきれないハンパさがペーソスを生み、不快な「自己チューの変人自慢」とは一線を画しています。
バカ売れしたら、絵がうまくなっちゃうのかな。推薦する気持ちと反するようだけど、この荒い絵のまま負け犬根性で辛酸なめまくっていてほしい作家さんの一人です。

単行本になるとは…まして取り寄せるとは予想外。
人に勧めるのをためらうのと高評価が似合わないので★みっつ。
作者の目線がぶれていないのでそういう意味で意外にスマート。現代社会で何かしら無理をしているひとのダークサイドが絶妙のバランスででています。
オビにこっそりかかれた「面白企画満載」という文句にひいた。作中頻繁に登場する担当者との対談はヒリヒリし過ぎてネタかマジか判りません。むしろマジであってほしい。ネタだとイタイ。
床屋や銀行なんていう待合室に置いてあったらなんか嬉しい本。

売れない漫画家の貧しくて惨めな日常、という内容だが全く悲壮感がない。小学生並みの発想やどうにも共感できないあるあるネタなどをユーモラスに描いていてとても面白い。
