「彼岸」にいるモノたちとそれに振り回される「此岸」にいる人々を、見えるけど祓えない姉、見えないけど憑かれやすい妹という姉妹２人の視点から描きます。
時にほのぼのと、時に恐ろしく、時に哲学的に描かれる様々な「怪」。
それらの底に見え隠れする人間社会の「優しさ」と「残酷さ」までを、直接的に、また間接的に示してくれる、まさに「良作」と呼ぶにふさわしい作品ではないかと思います。

派手なバトルやファンタジーはありませんが、それを補って余りある「説得力」。
☆５つでお薦めです。

妖怪漫画というジャンルがあるとすれば、この作品はその最高峰にあると思います。柳田國男をはじめとする民俗学者の研究成果を作中に生かしており、単なるホラーものの漫画が多い中では異色のものかと。感じとしては大人っぽいとなりのトトロ。子供も大人も楽しめる良作です。

妹瑞生は妖怪に憑かれやすいが見ることは出来ない、姉静流は望まずとも見えてしまう。
そして、二人にとって妖怪がいる日常こそ、ごく当たり前の世界。

丁寧に描かれた背景、特に木々などが葉のざわめきも聞こえそうなほど良く描かれているので、なるほど妖怪がいても何も不思議じゃないんじゃないかと思わせる、田舎の風景。
妖怪がいるのが特別なのではなく、昔から続いている当たり前の出来事。
そんな風に感じさせられる世界観でした。

穏やかで優しい静流に、ちょっと生意気だけど素直な瑞生。
仲の良い二人の関係、やりとりがとても良い感じだし、
拝み屋である祖父は、落ち着いていて全てを見通す様な祖父は中々いいキャラです。
そんな祖父でも妖怪を祓うわけではなく、拝んで離れて戴く。
時には何もせず、本人の心持ちだけでも離れていってくれたりする。
妖怪が悪いわけではなく、妖怪というのはそういう物。
二人は毎回妖怪の存在を介して、何かを学んでいきます。

妖怪の絵も怖すぎず可愛すぎず、でも雰囲気は良くできているという、お話の世界観とはとてもよくマッチしています。
最近妖怪の話にはまって色々読んでいるのですが、これが一番のヒットでした！
エンターテイメント性としては弱いかもしれないし、おどろどろしい妖怪や、妖怪と人間の対決を望んでいる人にはお勧めは出来ないですけど。
良くある妖怪が悪さをして祓う、というだけではなく、理解して受け入れる、妖怪との共存がテーマなお話。
雰囲気重視のほのぼのした、妖怪物語。
一話読みきりなので、結構あっさり読めて好きです。
