「NOISE」は今は亡きアフタヌーン増刊で連載されていた「BLAME!」の外伝的な作品であり、「BLAME!」以前の世界、つまりいかにしてあの異様な世界が出来上がったのかが描かれている１冊になっている。

　面白いことに、「BLAME!」の世界がいかにして出来たのかは「NOISE」で明らかになるだが、「NOISE」の世界がいかにして出来たかは謎のままなのだ。しかし、不自然になりがちな現実世界とかい離した設定を、少しの違和感もなく素直に読ませるあたりが作者・弐瓶勉の才能であり魅力なのだろう。
　ＳＦ好きならば必読の書である。

　余談だが、ＳＦという枠でくくるしかないこの作品は、ＳＦというにはあまりにも発想が飛躍しすぎているのではないだろうか。もちろん肯定的な意味での飛躍である。ジャンルや分類という概念そのものがナンセンスであるという批判はあるかもしれないが、あえて言わせてもらおう。この作品は新しい枠組みを生み出す突破口になるのかもしれない。それほどにまで衝撃は大きい作品だ。

BLAMEの世界が生まれる瞬間がかかれてある非常に興味深い資料です。
”そういうことだったのか！”の連続であり、非常にショックを受けました。
また、ストーリーなどもすばらしくそれに台詞がたくさんあります！
BLAMEが好きな人もそうでない人もお勧め！

「BLAME！」の外伝的なマンガです。このマンガによってどうやって「BLAME！」の世界が出来たのか
、珪素生物がどのように誕生したのかがわかります。バトルシーンも相変わらず凄い出来で本当に動いてるかのような感覚になります。もちろんこれ単品でも楽しめますが「BLAME！」を読んでからだとさらにのめり込めます。バトルマンガが好きな人はぜひ読んでみて下さい！
