「ひぐらし」小説版第三編の上巻です。編が変わるごとに様相を変えて繰り広げられる不気味な事件の数々。いわゆる「萌えキャラ」を巧みに利用した、日常と惨劇との落差。その衝撃度は相変わらずの素晴らしさで、シナリオ的には、なかなかお目にかかることのできない傑作に仕上がっています。ギャルゲー的展開の前半部はやや食傷気味な気もしますが、ファンなら文句なしでしょう。

しかし、高い……（涙）。
「ひぐらし」は本格推理、メタミステリなどの側面も有していますが、分類的には明らかにライトノベルの範疇に入ります（講談社さんは『ライトノベル』という呼称を頑として使おうとしませんが）。文章、ギャルゲー的前半部から見ても間違いない。そんなライトノベルで一冊1500円オーバーって……高すぎるのもまた間違いのない事実です。

これはライトノベルではない！　これぞ小説だ！　と言い張ったとしても――同じ講談社の本格推理の傑作、綾辻行人御大の「暗黒館の殺人・文庫版（一）」などは781円なのです。「ひぐらし」購入者は若者が多い事実から考えても、箱になど入れず文庫にして、800円程度に抑えるのが出版社の良識ではないでしょうか？　第一編上巻だけを安くして購入させ、急に値段を吊り上げて金を稼ぐ……そんな嫌な姿がちらちら見えるのは気のせいでしょうか？

もし「解答編」も同じ体裁で出し続けるのならば……ちょっと購入は考えさせていただきます。

小説としてひぐらしの作品を出してくれるのはうれしいのですが、

この値段は少々高すぎでは？

月に一本でもこれは結構な負担です。

ひぐらしを買う人は若者が多いので資金力がある人はそう多くはないでしょう。

ひぐらしだけを買っているわけではないと思うので、これを買うことによって他のものを買うのを自粛しなければいけないのはつらいです。


そしてだんだんと値段が上がっているのはどういうことなんだ？

内容の長さのちがいもあるだろうが200〜500円も上がるものなのか？

少し購入を諦める可能性もでてきました。

　６月１７日まで載っています。ほぼノーカット版です。祟殺し編はひぐらしの出題編の中で

もっとも重要で、家庭内暴力など考えさせられる話でもあります。ただゲームやアニメや漫画

を見ずにいきなり小説から入るとイメージがわかずチョイきついです。最低限でもアニメは見

といたほうがいいかもしれません。また挿絵が少ないのがとても残念に思います。

　相変わらず値段が高めです。そういうことで星４つです。
