著者略歴 (「BOOK著者紹介情報」より)

佐伯 チズ
1943年に生まれる。OLを経て美容学校、美容室勤務ののち、1967年、フランス化粧品メーカー、ゲラン入社。その後、渡米などを経て1988年、パルファン・クリスチャン・ディオールのインターナショナル・トレーニング・マネージャーに就任。美容部員の指導のかたわら、年間2000人以上の女性の肌に触れ、トラブル解消に努めてきた。2003年6月、クリスチャン・ディオールを定年退職後、エステティック・サロン、「サロン・ドール・マ・ボーテ」を開業。現在は2004年10月に自らがプロデュースした東京・代々木の総合美容施設「ビューティータワー」内にサロンを構え、現役エステティシャンとして活躍中。また2004年末より、美容のプロを目指す人と美容についての知識を深めたいという一般女性が学べる「佐伯チズ チャモロジー(魅力学)・スクール」を開校(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

顔を洗うのをおやめなさい！というサブタイトルにもありますが、
今までとはまったく違うお手入れ方法が紹介されています。
佐伯チズさんのこの本を読んでオイルクレンジングをやめました。
肌や化粧品に対する考え方もスゴク変わったし、
なにより自分の肌と向き合う事の大切さを教えられました。
今この本を読んでおいてよかったと思いました。

本当に基礎の基礎から、お肌のお手入れの仕方、肌への接し方や考え方が書かれていて、とても参考になりました。
手を使って肌の調子を見る。当たり前だけど、案外やってなかったスキンケア方法で改めて、自分の肌を見直してみました。
本に書かれていたのを参考に「オイルクレンジング」をやめてから、肌の調子が整ってきました。

彼女の『女性を美しくしたい』という気持ちがちゃんと伝わってきました。
さらに2つのブランド化粧品会社を勤め上げた経歴が文章に説得力を与えていると思います。何よりお金をかけずに美しくなれることが書かれてあるのが信頼できる!
彼女の『情報に流されず本当に自分の肌に合う化粧品を見極める目を持った女性になりなさい』というメッセージが、情報に振り回されたことのある女性には心にズッキーンとくるんじゃないかな。
もちろん私もその中の一人です。。。
