自身がアスペルガー障害と分かり、母に勧められて早速読んでみました。
困っている事例毎に具体的に項目が分かれ、問題と解決法が一話形式で纏められていたので、とても読み易く感じました。自分の苦手な分野・状況・感覚を知る事も出来、悩みが軽くなりました。挿絵も障害に対する抵抗感を感じさせない、愛らしいものです。
アスペルガー障害（だと思われる方にも）のお子さんから成人迄の本人とそのご家族が、障害について正しく理解する為に最適な一冊だと思いました。

14歳の甥っ子のために購入しましたが、思春期独特のこころの動きなどが丁寧にわかりやすく書いてあってすごくよかったです。また、本人の気持ちはどうなのか？と説明してあって、
最近アスペルガー症候群と診断されてとまどっていた甥っ子の気持ちが少しだけ理解できたような気がします。あとは、将来の進む道についてとか、実際どんな職業についているのか？とかが書いてほしかったです。

症状と簡単な対処法がわかりやすくかかれています。
私（１８才）の場合は、空気の読めていない・常識がない自覚がたびたびあって落ち込んで、診断したらアスペルガーだとわかりました。

落ち込んで何とかしたいとき、細かい学術書を読まされても頭に入ってこないですし、それに、明日からでも、学校…中学、高校、大学でなんとかしたいというのが実情です。
見開き１ページの解説と、すごく親しみのもてるイラストで、その気で読み始めたら３時間くらいで読破できると思います。（周りの目が気になって電車とかで読める本ではないので、家で読んだらそれくらいでした）

少し気分を明るくしてくれ、解決法への道筋を見せてくれる。いい本だと思います。

あと、「思春期」とのことで自分が対象年齢かわからず、一応「大人の」という題名のものも買いましたが、そちらはもっと殺伐とした…いかにも病気っぽい、社会人っぽい、ちょっとクールな内容です。
そういうわけで、この「思春期」の対象は、中学生〜大学生、くらいという意味でいいのではないでしょうか。
