以前から気になっていた本なのですが、あまりにも評判が良いため
あまのじゃくな所がある自分は、何となく買うのをスルーして
いたのですが文庫版が発売されているのを見つけ今回購入してみました。

読後の感想は、「何でもっと早くこの本を読まなかったんだろう」
っていう感じです（おせじぬきに）
読み進めていくうちに登場人物にどんどん感情移入してしまい
涙があふれだし、自分でもびっくりしてしまいした。

２０代前半で、子供を持たない自分が読んでもこれだけ感動
できるのだがら、主人公の年齢設定に近い年代の方がこの本を
読まれたらたまらないものがあるのではないでしょうか。

読了したあと、久しぶりに酒でも飲みながら父親とゆっくり
話をしたいなと思いました。
そういう気分になれただけでも、この本を読んだ価値があった
なと思います。
後、細かい事ですが印刷されている文字が大きめでくっきりと
しているので読みやすいのもとてもよかったです。
おかげで気持ち良くサクサク読み進める事が出来ました。

この作品、できれば映画化してほしいですね。
映像の中で動く、登場人物達をぜひみてみてたいです。
ちなみに、自分の中で主人公のイメージ像はずつと香川のぶゆき
さんでした（笑）
いい作品です、気になっている方はぜひチェックしてみてください。

ミステリー的な内容ですが、重松さん独自の家族感が非常に良く出ています。
特に子供にとって父親とは何か、妻にとって夫とは何か、父親にとって子供とは何かをじっくりと考えさせられる内容でした。
親にとって子供は何歳になっても子供だという言葉を良く聞きますが、子供にとっても親は何歳になっても親に違いありません。子供だったからこそ恥ずかしくて親に甘えられなかった事もあるはず。大人になったからこそ親に甘えられることもあります。
そんな素直な気持ちにさせていただける本です。

まず最初に感動。
そして次に少しの恐怖の残る小説だった。

妻は不倫、息子は暴力。
何もかも嫌になった事があなたにはありますか？
どうなってでもやり直しの現実をへし曲げようと歯を食いしばった事がありますか？

すごく長い小説でしたが、読み始めると一気に読み切りました。
今までで１番「家族」という物について考えた小説であり
今までで１番読み終えた後に「さぁ、頑張ろう」と思えた小説でもあった
そしてとても涙した小説だ
何か考え方が変わるかも。
読んで良かった、心からそう思えた１冊だった
