有栖川作品目当てだったが、他のものもなかなか楽しめた。

有栖川作品の「ABCキラー」は、火村ものとしては長編『マレー鉄道の謎』の少し前の発表ということで、火村とアリスのスタンスがよりいじらしさと緊張感を増した頃でもあり、推理もさることながらこの2人のやりとりも非常に心に響いた。いわゆる”社会派”推理ではないにしても、社会的な視点もうまく盛り込まれている。犯人は特に意外には思えなかったが、事件の進行そのものはうまくヒネられている。
「ABCD包囲網」は、発想として非常に秀逸だと思った。なるほどこういう「ABCD」もありなのね、と思わせる。ただ事の真相はある時点でカンづくことはできる。

『「Y」の悲劇』と同じぐらいの満足感はあった。同じテーマを与えられることで、自由創作するよりも却って素晴らしいバリエーションが生まれるのかな、とさえ思った。
折角これだけのメンバーが揃っているので、作者から一言なり解説なりがあると更によかったのだが・・・・

　クリスティにささげられた書下ろしミステリ集。連続殺人が５事件！
「ＡＢＣキラー/有栖川有栖」またも火村シリーズ！モチーフはクリスティの作品に一番忠実では。
「あなたと夜と音楽と/恩田陸」アルファベットではないが、楽しめる会話劇。
　「猫の家のアリス/加納朋子」名前がＡ，Ｂ，Ｃで始まる連続殺猫事件！？身近な謎系の話。

「連鎖する数字/貫井徳郎」この作家はライトなノリの方が似合ってるような気がする。変人の探偵との掛け合いが愉快。ラストはやや陳腐かなあ。
「ＡＢＣＤ包囲網/法月綸太郎」謎の冤罪自首男のたくらみは？綸太郎君にまかせて安心！

有栖川有栖、恩田陸、加納朋子、貫井徳郎、法月綸太郎の５人の短編小説。
アガサ・クリスティの「ＡＢＣ殺人事件」をテーマに連続殺人のミステリーがそれぞれの世界で作られています。
初めて読む作家は加納氏、貫井氏。血を見ないミステリーの加納氏もインターネットを上手く使っていて面白い。

貫井氏もこちら側では犯人は見えているのに、小説の警察が振りまわされている姿や、暗号の謎の構成が上手いと思った。
有栖川氏の火村シリーズはやはり安心して読めます。犯人には驚きでした。
