　ミステリーランドシリーズということでどうしても対象年齢は低い内容となっています。このシリーズの趣向を理解して読めば楽しめる作品でしょう。
　著者の歌野晶午さんは奇想天外なトリックが十八番の本格派で、この作品にもそれなりのトリックを用いていますがコアな本格推理小説マニアにはやや不満の残る作品となっていますが、それはおまけということで、この本の楽しむところは別にあり、「少年探偵団」ならぬ「５年１組捜査1課」と、現代風な少年活劇の趣向となっています。彼らのキャラクターの描写は生き生きとしており、会話も面白く、雰囲気を楽しむ小説でしょう。彼らの好奇心に私は「なつかしさ」を覚えました。
　アリのクイズは傑作。答えをどう感じるかによってあなたの頭の堅さがわかるような気がします(笑)。

ミステリーランドは子供向けのはずなのに何故か大人向けの物語が
多かった中で、これは子供が読んでかなり楽しめる作品だと思います。
毎度思うのですが、私が小学生の頃に講談社さんがこの企画がしてく
れていたらと思ってしまいます。羨ましいなぁ今の子が。（笑）

探偵クラブ、密室、消える死体、物体がワープする小屋、幽霊、いか
にも怪しい屋敷に探検と子供が好きそうなものばかりをギュッと詰め
こんだような１冊なんですよね。
子供の頃って禁止されればされるほどやりたくなるし、行ってはダメ
な場所ほど魅力的に感じていた記憶があります。
私も子供の頃に半分肝試しみたいな感覚で廃屋に行ったりしていました。
そして小学５年の頃は彼らみたいに男の子と女の子って対立してましたね。（笑）
ＫＡＺ対タキゾノキヨミの夫婦喧嘩は大人が読むと思わず懐かしさを感じ
ちゃうのではないでしょうか。
殺人事件と小屋のトリック、また真相の意外性は彼の作品としてはやや低
めだと思うのですが、子供向けに書いてある事を考えるとこの結末が一番
納得できると思います。

ただ１つ難点なのがヒデ兄。
衣装があまりにも浮き過ぎていて彼だけが何故か変な存在になっちゃって
いるのですよね。
彼の存在がないと探偵クラブだけでは事件は解けないのですが、警察官の
服装としては無理がありすぎかなぁ。
ミステリーランドに登場する大人の人って何故か奇妙な人が多いですよね。

あとがきで歌野氏が小学生の頃に経験したミステリが書かれています。
あの頃からそんな「謎」と「トリック」に出会っていたなんて！進むべき
道に進まれた方なんですね。（笑）
ミステリーランドではこのオマケも楽しめるので普段は「あとがき」を読
まない方もこのシリーズは読むことをオススメします。

少年探偵ものとして、素直に読めた。
ひねりすぎず、かといって簡素すぎもしない。
子どもにも大人にも、というミステリーランドに相応しい作品だと思う。
実際の事件と、主人公の少年が出すアリの問題、両方の謎解きが楽しめる。
子どもたちの関係も、時代を超えてどこにでもあるものだから、大人には懐かしさを、子どもにはリアル感を与えるのではないだろうか。
