この巻では、紫苑とネズミが矯正施設に行き、とうとう沙布を救出に行く途中までの様子が書かれています。
作者、あさのあつこ先生のすごいところが、沙布を救出して終了、にするようなお話にしてくれそうにところです。
紫苑とネズミの関係がだんだん変わっていく様子が書かれていて、この二人は最後、どのような関係になってしまうのか、と疑問に思いました。
また、この巻で、紫苑の変わりようがとても強く出ていて、紫苑の行動や考え方にえ、まさか！　と思わされました。
ホラー系ではないのですが、少し恐怖を私は感じましたよ……

紫苑とネズミの関係、と書きましたが、私は決して彼らが同性愛者だとは思えません。
確かに会話が……小学生向けではないことは頷けます。
ですが、あさのあつこ先生の作品は、例として、「福音の少年」も「バッテリー」も少年が主人公で、少年同士の関係を描いている、という共通点があります。
作者はもともと少年を描くのが好きなのではないでしょうか？
これらの作品はけっして同性愛を描いているわけではなく、人間の、少し不思議な人間関係を描いているように私は思っています。
けっして愛情でも友情でもない、人間関係。作者はこれらの本の中でこのようなことを実際、書き表しています。
ですから、「Ｎｏ、６」も多分、同姓愛ということとは少し違う、しかし、ヤングアダルト向けの言葉は使われている、と私は思っています。
あくまで私の意見ですが……

この巻が、１番好き。深い。紫苑とネズミのお互いへの想いが、深い。
死と生。憎しみと愛。嘘と真実。
そういうもの、全部が含まれているＮＯ．６シリーズだなって改めて思った。

２人の間にあるものは、信頼でも愛情でも憎しみでもなくて、ただ「運命」なんじゃないか。この２人が最終的に犠牲を払い、苦しい思いをして、得るものとは何なのか。次巻が今から待ち遠しい。


・・・・それにしても。やっぱりこれは同性愛要素が少なからずうかがえる作品だと思った。
普通、同姓に「キスしてやるよ」と言われて赤面･･･するのだろうか。
腐女子向けと影で囁かれているだけのことはある。これが好きな人には、長野まゆみ作品や、三浦しをんの月魚などもおススメ。

矯正施設への侵入、というよりは、人狩りで狩られて放りこまれたわけですが･･･。
その場所で紫苑が見たものは、地獄のようなありさまでした。
動物のように狩られた後は、死体と怪我人の山の上に、ゴミのように落とされます。
なすすべもなく死んでいくものたちの中で、ネズミは確信を持って細い道を進みます。

４巻目は矯正施設へ入るところで終わっていましたが、結局そこからあんまり進んでない感じです。
ラストに垣間見えた紫苑の変化と、ネズミの秘密がこれからどう展開していくのか、とても気になります。
